New Premises - Basketsgalore moves to Donaghadee

Basketsgalore moved into its new premises in October 2006. The new location is Donaghadee, a village approximately 5 miles along the Irish Sea coastline from Bangor in Co. Down. For further information on Donaghadee visit www.discovernorthernireland.com

Our new premises are a 5-minute walk from our Fresh fruit supplier and Florist.
The Donaghadee Delicatessen is owned by Ards Fruit and Vegetable Wholesalers, which ensures that the freshest fruit is always available. Each day a team member from Basketsgalore wanders into the village and selects the fruit for our Baskets. At this time of year Pomegranates, Chinese Pears, Passion Fruit and Sharon Fruit are included in our seasonal-fruit-baskets.

Whilst Basketsgalore doesn’t really promote its flower division, occasionally our customers will request a bouquet or wreath. In such circumstances, we pass the order on to what we consider to be the best local florists in the area.

Unfortunately we simply outgrew our previous premises. There was just no more room for the fridges for our Christmas produce and every shelf was heaving. With our new Christmas Site launching in October 2006, we intend making the UK and Ireland’s Best Gift Basket retailer an ever better shopping experience.
